Laundry is an ongoing process. You wear clothes, soil them, and then wash them over and over again. But even after washing them, clothes are never really new again. Don’t confuse God‘s forgiveness with a trip to the laundromat. When God forgives you, He doesn’t just wash away your sins, He gives you a totally clean heart. There’s no dull residue or faint stains of rebellion. You’re renewed, not reused or recycled or “just like new.” Your heart’s new. Again .
